This December, under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities, Prof. Anton Sukhoverkhov visited the University of Malaya (Malaysia) to present lectures for graduate students and meet with Malaysian experts in education as well as participate at an international educational forum. These lectures and the international forum "Sociology of Education: International Perspectives" took place at the Faculty of Education of the University of Malaya. The arrangements of the visit and meetings were generously and kindly organized by the faculty members Dr. Azni Yati Binti Kamaruddin and Dr. Dorothy DeWitt (who had previously arrived for a friendly visit to KubSAU). During the stay, a productive meeting was held with the Dean of the faculty, Associate Professor Dr. Zawawi Ismail, and other official representatives of the faculty. The participants of the meeting agreed to organize mutual programs for the exchange of universities’ lecturers, staff and students, to develop international exchange programs, facilitate globally competitive educational curriculums, and integrate Eastern and Western educational systems. Prof. Anton Sukhoverkhov appreciated all the efforts that were made by all members of the Faculty of Education for his arrival, accommodation and stay in Malaysia.
